My own personal vision of how british leyland (Alec Issigonis) would have built a modern day high powered mini. This build has been based on the factory produced mini 1275 GT. Hence renaming it in a similar factory name as the original car, "Mini 1795 GT". It follows the same theme and badging as the original GT, but with a more grunty and bullet proof engine and 5 speed gearbox. Everything about the car remains the sames apart from the engine and gearbox. Due to the increased engine power, braking and suspension have been upgraded to handle the 194bhp produced from the 96 spec Honda Integra type R engine (63bhp from the original 1275 motor). This car also has a stealth theme“Black is the new Bling”, hence all the chrome work has been changed to matt black to give the car a distinctive and stealth look.
Power when it's needed and the reliability of a modern day engine and gearbox keeps this classic car up to date, making it a performance classic of the present and future.
