1971 Austin Mini Pick-up
This is an Austin 1971 original factory built Austin mini pick-up. 58,179 of these utility vehicles were built between 1961 & 1982.
We are currently restoring this unique 1971 Austin Mini Pick-up. So far it has been stripped down to the bare shell. Then placed on one of our custom built mobile rotisserie. The shell has been sand blasted and primed and is now ready for panel work. The Pick-up is destined to become our work pick-up and promotional vehicle. Watch this space for more updates... Specs: Mini Pick-Up 1493 VT Engine Either Honda b15b VTEC or Hotted up 1275. Unsure at this stage Gearbox 4 or 5 speed Wheels and Tyres Force racing 3 piece split rims imported from the uk. 13 x 6 silver anodised with polished rims and chrome wheel nuts. Shod with Yokahama a539 175/50/13 tyres. Fully adjustable suspension. Shell The shell has been sandblasted back to bare metal and primed. It's now ready for panel work. Were replacing the floor panel, rear quarter panels, doors, tailgate and bonet with new and second hand panels. Engine bay will be re fabricated to fit around Honda engine. The rear arches will be cut down, lowering the rear end by 40mm. Brakes Willwood pedal box with bias front to rear adjustment. Wilwood calipers with znoelli vented and slotted disc's. Disc conversion on the rear. Interior Mazda rx8 front seats. Alpine 4 spaeker stereo with full ipod control from head unit. Exterior Sports pack fibreglass flares. Chrome work. Silver paint. |
